Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
1. Service Description
Lucent provides stablecoin liquidity intelligence, transfer simulation, bridge risk scoring, and related data services through its API and public dashboard. Lucent is an information and analytics platform. Lucent does not custody, transfer, or manage any digital assets on behalf of users.
2. Non-Custodial Nature
Lucent never takes custody of user funds at any point. All data provided is for informational purposes. Transfer simulations are estimates based on current market conditions and do not constitute financial advice or guaranteed execution prices.
3. API Usage
API access is provided under usage-based tiers. Free tier users receive up to 100,000 requests per day. Abuse, excessive automated scraping, or redistribution of data without authorization may result in access revocation. API keys are personal and should not be shared.
4. Data Accuracy
Lucent aggregates data from multiple third-party sources including DefiLlama, CoinGecko, Alchemy, and public exchange APIs. While we strive for accuracy and real-time freshness, we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any data. Users should independently verify information before making financial decisions.
5. SLS Scores
The Stablecoin Liquidity Score (SLS) is a proprietary composite rating based on publicly available data. It is designed to provide a relative risk assessment of bridge infrastructure and should not be the sole basis for any financial decision. SLS scores are not credit ratings and do not predict future performance or safety.
6. Limitation of Liability
Lucent is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. In no event shall Lucent or its operators be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform, API, or any data provided. Users assume all risk associated with their use of the service.
7. Intellectual Property
The Lucent platform, SLS scoring methodology, API design, and dashboard interface are proprietary. Users may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, or create derivative products from Lucent data without written authorization.
8. Modifications
Lucent reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Contact
For questions about these terms, contact the Lucent team via the information provided on the About page.
